Congratulations on a great fish.
No need to apologize for the final results.
Old Bass die everyday, whether they were caught by a fisherman or just from all of the drama below the surface.

I have a lot of old pictures of me holding up stringers of twenty five-thirty fish out of Toledo Bend years ago. We didn't know as much then, but even with all of that pressure back then, it is currently rated as the best bass lake in the US.

The live well on my boat is the least used part of the boat. Like most fishermen, we release just about everything.
Give the man a break!

If you spend much time responding to all the wanna be's on this board sir you'll run yourself crazy! Beautiful fish ...I hope you get a nice replica.... That would've been a SAL in a few months no doubt!

If had been a white bass no one would care.

Heck of a bass swood903. What you do with your fish is your business. Thanks for sharing the pic.

I grew up on lake Lewisville and the sand bass were great fishing. I think I caught the lake record in 1994 for a hybrid 19lbs
