You can buy them at Lake Fork Marina, too.

the fish swam off from the dock. did go by water to weigh it. what happens 48hrs later was out of my hands. I have caught a lot of big fish and if it did not make sorry but it swam away for me.it is hard to measure a fish when the sticks only go to 25". why try to make me look bad. if you would of caught you fish you would of done the same thing.

I would expect that lake fork marina would of know if there were any issues with the fish. They would of done what needed to be done.

[learned, just release the fish if you catch one like that. Take your pictures, weight, length and etc... but no need to put it in your livewell and transport it across the lake, unless your fishing a serious tournament.

EXCUSE ME !!!!
it is OK if it is in a "serious tournament" but if not in a "serious tournament" just release it..... ???
Give me a freakin break.
What does being in a "serious tournament" have to do with it ?
I'm sure the gentleman didn't kill the fish on purpose, maybe it had been caught and released too many times. Maybe it was just it's time to die. Don't hang the man out to dry because he wanted to weigh the fish when he wasn't in a "serious tournament".
Catch n Release is a fairly new phenomenon. Just drive arounf Lake Fk and look at all the trophys on the walls in the Marinas. Those guys never thought about releasing a fish. Look at some of the old black n white photos from "The Good Ol' Days",,,,,they strung them up on a rope thru the gills 5-10-15 8pound bass. I really don't think our fisheries were hurt all that bad from thos eearly fishing years.
Like I said, I bet he didn't kill the fish on purpose, it was just one of those deals.
ease up a bit.
