RJ, if you want to try the slayers on a Thursday let me know. I'll bring both so you can use it for the day.

And a little more info. The 10 has same weight capacity as the 13(500lbs). The SP10 is the 1st and so far only kayak under 12' that i have ever recommended for adults. It's my go to kayak, my 10 can do anything the 13 can do. Hope you find one if thats the kayak you decide on. The 10 is a very viable and effective fishing platform. Heck It my tournament yak!
Oh and did I say I like the SP10 so much that I have TWO!

I tried one out at the Mariner sails demo and really liked it. I stood up super easy and felt super stable.... if I had the money I would probably be looking for one, too. That is one sweet ride! I also like that I could load it easily by myself being that I'm not a big dude. Good luck hope you find one.

Just go get a 10. You won't regret it. Light and super stable.

We were playing around a few weeks ago at Fork to check out just how stable they are. You can stand on the stern and not flip this yak.

I think Black Hammer or Gene has some video.

Hahaha, yea. Gene has the Video. I thought it would be a cool pic to have us all stand on the nose of all of the 4-5 slayers and have Gene take a Pic... well he shot a video, it was very cool.. and my foot slipped... LOL!!! Chain reaction / domino style fail... LOL.
