I got into them this morning by accident. I was bass fishing with a Lake Fork flutter spoon off the island at the mouth of Jones Branch when they came rolling through in 30ft of water. My sonar screen would fill up with shad then right behind that the screen looked like macaroni. Caught 15 of the largest white bass I have ever caught at Grapevine. This pattern would repeat every 10 minutes or so. Finally left to pursue large mouth but it was certainly fun.
