Geez ..... heaven forbid there could be a slump ....

The only thing new in my arsenal this year will be some Tackle House Flitz in the 42 gram and the 75 gram. They come without hooks so I thought I'd put 2/0 ST66 4X on them.

I know Chris and Brian H. were catching YFT on them last year and I have heard that they are best when the Dusky Anchovies are present for the tuna to feed on.

Did any of you guys fishing close to Brian and Chris see how well the 42 gram casts .... it weighs 1� oz.? Apparently well enough

Griz Buddy it was 100F yesterday so I'm pretty sure November is still a couple of months away

Tunatamer I have a heavier tackle house Flitz I caught my biggest YF on it on the last trip 80.8# ended up with 5 fish 3 on poppers 2 on the Flitz both fish hit close to the boat with the bait paused and slowly sliding� They cast great on my 40/60 OTI I also put 2/0 ST-66 hooks on then..

When you say "heavier" are you referring to the 75 gram? I'm not as concerned about casting the 75 as I am the 42.



I use a 7'6" OTI 40 - 60. I use a Cabo 80 on it and although I like my Cabo 80 it doesn't cast nearly as well as a Stella and some other reels. Don't I recall that you were using a Cabo 60? Or was that someone else?

Yeah all were on the cabo 60 and im pretty sure they are the 75g slow sink

it must be November now! it was like 60 degrees when i came out of the house this morning.

Let me know when it's 60 when you get home.... then its close to Tuna time.
