I like Hart Tackle or Lunker Lure buzzbaits. Whatever you get, tie it to your side mirror on your truck and let it spin for a couple of days till it's squeaking and clanking.

papa's baits has a larger blade than most, and it's an inline model which helps it run true and come though cover better. plus the hook is as good as it gets, it's super long and stout. he does make traditional style buzz baits as well but the papa's buzz is my favorite. http://www.papasbaits.net/pro.html

Like most of the feedback you've already gotten, I love a hand made/semi custom from the small makers. But when you're in the store and have to one now, you can't beat a Tour Grade from Strike King. They make a let of racket right out of the package and the skirts are awesome. The price is affordable as well.

Im wondering what you guys think of the plastic buzzbaits, and are most of you using blacks, whites, craws?

Use to like the Honeybuzz, but TW stopped carrying them a couple years ago and they never answered their phone when I called direct. It looks like Strike King bought their design or ripped them off so its a moot point.

I set aside all of my other buzzbaits when I got my first Cavitrons. They are simply awesome. They squeal unlike any other buzzbait and I think it makes the fish so angry they attack it. I've caught fish on my Cavitron buzzbaits in every condition. Bright sun in the middle of the day and they still catch fish.

These intrigue me: Rebel Buzz'n Frog. Saw it on Dance's show a few weeks ago. Rebel probably one of his sponsors but that's irrelevant to me. Haven't found any to buy yet, on the list for the next trip to Bpro/Cabela.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

I can tell you after fishing the Aborgast buzz plugs, which have a similar hook design, that your hook up ratio will SUCK on these. What they end up doing with the buzz plugs (and probably with these) Is they smash them out of the water or they go for a head first strike and miss the hook completely.
