Outstanding write-up and photos! It's awesome to see a dad that loves his son that much - and it's obvious that is a two way street. Love it!

Thank you Lloyd5. He is a great young man; pretty much my little running buddy. I really can't say little anymore, 13 years old and will be taller than me before year end, lol! If we aren't fishing together, you can find us at Cabela's walking around or on a baseball field! My awesome wife and I have a very cool daughter too, she is the artist / rocker of the family, in fact I did sound engineering for a show that she was in at Stroker's Icehouse with School of Rock over the weekend. Feeling very blessed.

BTW: Lloyd5, I love reading your articles on Fish Explorer! We need to go fishing together sometime! Knuckles and I do a blog http://bassknucklesfishing.wordpress.com, check it out sometime.

An excellent site! I read three of them so far, will go back for more later, I want to have something to look forward to. What a great dad to do something like that site with his son. You sir are an inspiration for dads everywhere.

And yes, I'd love to go fishing with the two of you.

Here's an idea - we still need a couple of volunteers for the first annual Brazos River Airboat Run with the wounded veterans. Our volunteers go with one of the veterans and show them how to fly fish, if they don't know how already, assist them in any way they can, show them which flys to use where, that sort of thing. This one is September 12 and starts at Lake Whitney. If you and your son wanted to volunteer to take on one of the vets that day you would call Lew Duckwall at 972-977-4234 and talk to him. You might also consider volunteering for some of the trips to Broken Bow for trout with the vets. Of course this goes for anyone that fly fishes and would like to volunteer.

It's just a thought as we'd run into each other that way. But in any case we should try to go fishing! And thanks for reading my stuff, I really appreciate it.

Lloyd
