Believe that is a copper nose bluegill I was recently reading about that gets so big. Huge for a sunfish. JCarring, which state and lake did that fish come out of if you don't mind saying?

That came out of Fairfield in '08 before all the fish kills out there! It was cheating back then. That lake used to be full of big ones. Now not so much. It's a shame that it's not any good anymore.

You can say that again. I caught my pb gill ( just over a lb) fishing at fork last year. I prefer 7in fish and above.....

Anything as long as my hand we tend to keep for eating, unless we got more than we need. If less than 3 inches we keep some for trotline bait. My parents place on Caddo Lake from about March until mid June you can go out catch 40 or 50 bream in an hour or 2 come back the next day and do the same.
