did you not see the 1.5 mph speed at the top of the image? that means either the boat was in slight movement or the screen was locked ....(BEING AT ANCHOR DOESNT MEAN THE BOAT HAS ZERO MOVEMENT ) 1.5 mph is so slow its almost impossible to idle even that slowly, unless up against a strong wind. So either this shot was likely taken from the trolling motor or at anchor. also if the scroll speed were cranked up fairly high on the sonar, it would affect the picture.
Im fairly sure I know who took the images and it wasnt Greg, as he has no high def sonar,, Im sure the one who took the shot will come forwards..

If Greg were giving out free samples of jigs and tackle I know several who would be kissing his [censored] to get some freebies. These same people move from tackle mfg to tackle mfg sucking up to them to get free product.. If the shoe fits wear it, if not dont be offended ..

Was wondering what you guys were looking at so went back to the beginning and remembered seeing that picture before when I Googled images of Lowrance Gen 2 to see if I could compare image quality from the touches to the non touches (through the structure scan module). It caught my eye because it was so clear for being from a touch. This all took place nearly three years ago when I was comparing the two before I bought my HDS7 Touch (Reason I bought it!)



Did it come from a Russian website (that was the URL of the picture) or did they copy it from him? I have never seen the other picture with the fish though.

Advertising photos and commercials are fixed all the time from the perfect burger pic that YOU get in a soggy paper wrap when you buy it, the cheesy slice of pizza pulled ever so perfectly from the rest of the slices, that magical lure that catches fish on every cast, the well edited fishing show that pushes no fail products, The boat you buy that rides like its on rails on the commercial in perfect conditions, even politician's do it to get your vote, its apart of and well embedded in marketing. We all been on that ride that's why you have multi-million dollar advertising companies, so stop having that OMG how dare he attitude. Just to let you guys know, I received a quick response from Crappiegetter and my crappie cakes were delivered Friday. I will be trying them out in september on a fishing trip and post results.

I just got my cakes in as well my wife had ordered them for me as part of a Father's Day gift after about three weeks I called about them and I spoke with Greg seems like a pretty honest fella to me I understand sometimes things happen and it's a busy time of year for just about all guides so I wasn't holding it against him on the delay anyhow I open the package today and he had tripled the original order which is pretty awesome if you ask me and appologized for delay said he had a couple batches that didn't cooperate I will be trying these puppy's out soon so watch for a update if your interested
