Why do they have the road and parking area at the wall on the Texas side barricaded? Making everyone walk 150 yards or so down to it.

Almost hate to admit it but tomorrow I'm forsaking the bank and will be in a fold up boat and hope like heck we don't get dumped by a falcons wake. It's fish fry time and I can't stand it any longer

Keep people from blocking the power house allowing equipment and personal move freely. Guess that makes since. Wish I would have known. I drove all the way there and I'm wheelchair bound at present. So the walk was out of the question. And when we got there last night there was no crowd. Would have been fun. There's really no other place on the river I can access unless I want to fish where they are launching....which I don't.
