Carp is way better than drum imo. But drum is better than other stuff like chicken breastfeeding or frozen threadfin Chicken breastfeeding sound like it would hurt, alot. Gotta love autocorrect.

We have had some pretty good luck with Drum. Beat on it a little before cutting it and hook through the skin.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most !!

you can soak those drum-fillets in dead red over night.....
If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....

You can roll those drum fillets in fish fry off your choice soak them in 350-375 degree cooking oil till they have a nice crunchy crust and eat them while your fishing for catfish with better bait like shad, carp, perch etc.
Goo eat just as good as catfish.
