I bought an atwood bilge pump and rear running light. later saw the exact same products
at home depot in cedar hill , pump 20`oo$ less light 10~oo less. don"t be ME and asume
W. M. has the best price on all product,s

You can save a lot of money buying online and from out of state vendors. I research everything on the Internet. I buy from the place that can get it to my front door the cheapest, than getting it to me as promised,no tax, free shipping, etc. I don't really care that much about their customer service other than just getting it to me because if there is a problem with the product, the resolution is usually with the manufacturer anyway. I buy a lot of equipment from the marine places in Florida because it just seems like they sell for less, maybe because of competition. The big box marine stores, West Marine, Defender, and places like Bass Pro and Cowbellas are all a rip off selling for full retail. I don't mind waiting 3-4days to have something delivered to my door.

didn't say it was wm fault he just said best not to assume But did title in capitol letters "RIP OFF" so yes the implications were made. Just take them back and get the cheaper one if it's a big deal but I would take the loss just to avoid having to go back into Walmart where everyone seems so "happily employed" :-). I would have been guilty of thinking Walmart was as cheap as anyone too.....but still wouldn't have gone!

Many items especially in fishing dept at Wal-Mart look the same as sold elsewhere, but on inspection have a different bar code and very slightly different product model with a -01 or similar extension. They are indeed made slightly different with different internal parts, a different product packaging and sometimes a different warranty policy specifically for Wal-mart sales only.
You can't typically directly compare for example fishing reels sold at Wal-Mart with same looking models sold elsewhere though the reels 'look' exactly the same.
