Guess that makes since. Wish I would have known. I drove all the way there and I'm wheelchair bound at present. So the walk was out of the question. And when we got there last night there was no crowd. Would have been fun. There's really no other place on the river I can access unless I want to fish where they are launching....which I don't.

Let me know if you need a hand. I'm heading up there in a couple of hours to try again. Didn't catch anything yesterday but did see a fellow releasing a paddle fish as I was walking up. Cool fish!

Fishing was not as good as it had been. Saw some guys catching a few nice 10 lbers and one guy caught a decent paddle fish. Looked too close to dam to be legal. But then again I dont know the law . We caught 6 only three keepers. Great weather as it rained most of the morning and overcast .

Keep em tight!

Are the gates still open? the website says not gate changes so I guess if they have been open the same amount for the last 4 days then they are still going but I don't know for sure. I am going down Saturday to fish the Oklahoma side any certain colors working better then others? I'm tying up a bunch of ultra pro minnows just wondering what colors other then just white.

dang that sucks warmer water will affect the bite. So years ago the were letting water out this time of the year and alot of the striper that hang out in the deep colder water in summer got washed out of the lake do you think this will affect the striper fishing on the lake for the years to come?

IMOP Yes, I've seen it in the past, 2007 till 2015, this year Mar-Apr, I've caught the biggest fish in this time period, than in the past 8 yrs. There were a lot of big fish caught this spring, look's like it took 8yrs to recover from the last flood over the spill way.
