Moon, that was a huge bull chanel catfish. I bet it put up quite a fight on your fly rod.
Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

Not on a sat for me anymore, got there last Sat@ 610AM, I was the 23 car in the parking lot, Rail was full and they were catching Feeeh, it was a goat rope, tangles, throw overs, people would not move over for a fish on. I think Wed is the best day, from what I can tell. Can't make it this Wed, I've got to go to the city for a VA appt., but will be there next wed for sure. PS, will go by BP, for some top water supplies & BB.,Mike

Those are some nice reels but how are you going to use all 6 at once? I can use that Stella if you want.
Really, though, aren't those a bit overkill for the wall? Seems like a stradic 5000 would be more than sufficient.
I'm not going on Saturdays anymore either. Too many people tight-lining and not moving like reelmates said. Last time I went on a weekend almost every time someone got a fish on they would have to stop and remove 2 or 3 people's lines before they could get the fish in. Saw multiple fish break off while trying to do this. No thanks. Maybe if this keeps up through he fall and there are less people out there as it gets colder.
Edit: FYI, I went to the Cabela's in Allen today and they seemed to have restocked their bucktails. Plenty of 2 and 3 ounce ones in different colors.

You got the ling go, perfect!!!!! I have not seen the size or quantity of fish on the Ok side, I fish both. 10+#' s fish coming of the Tx wall all the time, all I see on the Ok side is box fish, you just have to get in there and go for it.
