Kind of an odd post but something we really haven't talked about or anything I could remember so I thought it might be kind of fun and interesting. My wife was getting on to me for leaving my fishing hat in the house because according to her it was stinking up the house, she also wanted to know what that smear was all over it and the flaky stuff, I was hesitant on telling her the truth because I knew what the outcome would be. I told her that the smear was slime and the flaky stuff was shad scales. The horror on her face was the first sign of what I knew was coming. She asked when the last time I washed it and I said never because that would ruin my luck, she didn't buy that a bit and made me take it outside. The conversation did not end as she couldn't understand why week after week I put that on my head. She said go buy a new hat because it was raggedy and wasn't even worth washing, I disagree but it would be nice to have another hat. She then made some sense when she said "if you only fish for catfish then why wear a hat with a bass on it?" I explained that it was the logo of bass pro so she asked why it had to be a bass pro hat, if you went as far as putting a catfish decal on your boat you would think that you would wear a hat with some kind of catfish logo and not a bass. As I walked off I starting thinking about it and have decided that I guess it's time to get a new cap but I thought it might be interesting to see all of your lucky hats. So if you have the time lets see a pic of your lucky hats
Mike

Mine is like yours Mike--
What has happed to you does not define who you are-
HOW you react to what happens to you DOES!

It stinks! A only acceptable method of "cleaning" a lucky fishing hat is accidentally dropping it in the lake.

I like a wide brim hat to keep the sun off, but it has to have a mesh so the wind can cool my head and dry the sweat! Where's that dang camera?
Randy I'm in good shape for the shape I'm in!
