Been playing with Balsa wood. Those eyes gave me fits! I messed up several before I was happy. They are made from aluminum foil and electrical tape. I need to open wallet and order some 3d eyes I guess. I'm always trying to do things the hard way. I'm not sure what direction to go in now, but I guess I'll do some marabou, hackle and silli legs .

I really tied these for bass...but I bet the trout would like them too. I bought some different color strips to make these....just trying out new color combos. I got one in mind I want to tie. Maybe tonight I can attack it. Just trying to fine tune which colors I want.

Alright, here she is. I had to ask my wife to pick the colors...I was drawing a blank. Looks like a Bull Bream Pattern to me. Hard to see the purple belly in the pic, but it's there.

Bristles off a vacuum cleaner? Possibly the Bristle Brand.

Well vacation is over, and I finally had time to restock the fly box after the Texas Expo put a pretty good dent in it: So, I spent a little time this weekend tying up these, but I think I may still need a few more to fill up the fly box.

Looking good, Rex! I still have a few of Big Dale's Psychedelic Spiders. I need to find some of the parti-colored foam for my own stash.

Green Weenie out of Fly Tyers magazine this quarter. I couldn't resist and found me a cleaning glove to cut up. More patterns to come! BTW they said this is killer on trout.
