Been hitting a favorite greenie spot lately...with some quality ones being caught.
The first example is a hybrid greenie/bluegill I suspect...possible "Georgia giant"...not certain though.
The body seems more bluegill in shape and the mouth was smaller than most of the true greenies I catch.
The rest had some exceptional coloring that pics just don't do justice...gorgeous colors.
With the exception of the first fish...all fish were caught using a Browning Medallion 4ft. ultra lite rod...
Penn 4200SS spinning reel and Trilene XL 4lb line with a 1/16 ounce white curly tail roadrunner.
All released to hopefully enjoy again...
