Academy and Walmart for staple stuff, online for bigger items. Academy doesn't carry a lot of high end stuff and their sales are usually very low end stuff. Cabelas and Bass Pro both usually have a decent selection, but you are going to pay full retail on everything, and I'm not sure the points system they have makes up for that in the long haul. Like Academy, their sale items are usually low end to get you in the door and with not much of a discount at that. I would never buy a trolling motor or fish finder at either one of them. There are too many places on line that sell cheaper with no sales tax and no shipping charges. I just ordered a Humminbird and a trolling motor online for much less than the big box stores sell for, but my time is cheap and I spend a lot of time shopping the Internet.

I have the BPS card too. Get gas; pay it off and get a nice rod or something every few months for cheap or free.
