23 feet or so on 15# Big Game when strolling. About 18 to 20 on a long cast.

I followed Darold's advice and picked up several at Academy. I did very good with them (Media Tment 21 lbs) last week on Toledo and also today on Sam Rayburn. They have a good finish, track straight and have very good hooks. I have been well pleased with them. I am throwing mine on heavier line than most since I am fishing some really "Narly" places! I am using mine on 20lb Seguar InvisX and on the Castaway 7'6" SKX-XDD. I have been getting down to 16-17'. So far Noooooo Complaints and will probably get some more. Best of all is that they Catch Fish!

Everybody will have a different experience based mainly on line size. What size line are you throwing? I can get a 300DD and 6xd down to 17' on 12lb fluoro. I've never thrown a 500DD.

10 lb Flouro, 7'11" cranking rod, lews BB1. I cast that 300DD crankbait 60 yards and it won't touch 17'. That bait runs about 13-14 ft max. I can hit bottom with a 6XD in 21 ft easily.

Im actually gonna agree with fast lane. Love the 300d but I fish it in 8-12FOW never been able to hit more than 15ft 7'10"MH 12lb floro and my 200e5 I hit 17-20 often with my 6xds the 500DD is sweet but like stated I haven't got it down like the10xd

Worst crank baits ever, no do not waste your money......
On a serious note I have had days were they would hit only 10XD's and days they would only hit the 500DD's, but the days they hit the 500DD's out weighs the not. I keep one of each tied on in the boat at all times. I run them on 15lb PLine 100% Flouro. IMO they are a great tool to have.

I like them. They work, but don't run as deep as advertised. Keep that in mind.
