I wish they would only let you keep one fish over 20 inches per person in the river personally. The limit is half of what is in the lake so that should be fair let's all try to preserve a phenomenal fishery in the river. Instead of taking home the biggest fish you can catch try just taking some boxfish and one nicer sized one to take home. The fishery would last much longer this way! Good luck to all when you see me I'll be cpr'ing all of those nasty suckers but i love to catch them:)

I'm not sure the striper survive well in the river. I think they need someplace with deeper, colder water during the summer time. That's why Texas has never had a striper population down in the gulf of mexico - water gets too hot in the summer.

Anyways, I'm not sure what I'd do with a 5 fish limit of 10+ lb fish. I guess I could freeze them but fish is never quite as good when it's frozen.

That vortex is 6' wide.

Snaggers on the rocks at night. Didn't notice at first, asked him what he was using and he said jig. Then saw the snagging motion he was using and constant bringing fish to his truck. Damn shame!

Oklahoma stringer: I went to pet smart and got a dog tag with my name /license number/ and phone number engraved on to it. Slips right onto the stringer or clip to cooler or bucket.

5" pvc pipe, a permanent marker, write your name, or scratch name with a nail should do the trick. Make a few for your friends n just hand them the marker. instant personal stringer in true OKIES redneck style! roflmao

Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

Did you stayed long enough to see their hooks or "jigs "?
A friend of mine told me about GW ticketing some guys snagging stripers. Now this friend of mine who is also showing me how to jig a Carolina bug tail rig techniques to minimize snagging bottom rocks... He is good and has big fish to prove it. The pole motion is up and down, that's not how you snag fish is it? It would be pretty hard to snag big stripers with a cobra buck tail with fluke rig.
