A way cool mount is that head with the pelvic fins. Take up WAY less space in a room and still is an impressive piece! AND they cost about the same as a deer head mount.

These are 3 long nose and a spotted gar at my first attempt to euro mount a fish. They came out great and do not smell. Longest gar was 53 inches. Taken by spear while swimming in a creek.

Mike , I'm beginning to think your old girlfriend just did'nt have an appreciation for the finer things in life.You seem to be able to CPR carp like nobody's business and do taxidermy work like a pro!

That full size gar mount is impressive. It would look real nice above my tv.

You hit that on the money. My EX Girlfriend was a hater and hated it when I would go fihsing and hunting. I could not even display my taxidermy work.. Here are some pics of my first Wild Boar skull and deer head I did.

Mike I got an ex-wife that even with the red and green christmas lights going on would'nt even let that boar's skull be displayed in the garage, but if you take the same skull (like in the bottom picture)and go out in the middle of nowhere on I10 in west texas, open up a little roadside shop, put out a catchy sign....maybe "Texas Natural Wildlife Museum", scatter around a few dinosaur fossils, the boars skull, stuff an armadillo and a skunk, she would make me pull over and pay $10 to tour.

Thanks BB for the op. to post some pics of Garquests boat #2 . Took me a bit plus the holidays . Yall come by the Dallas Boat Expo that started today and see us at booth 414 . This weekend and next Thursday - Sunday. BTW the yellow tape is a border that we put along the edge to keep the epoxy from getting on the edges as we're layin it .

I saw this boat at the Belton Boat Show........incredible!!! New deck on my crappie boat will be done by these guys!!!!

This is a (I believe)58" long nose. That is 24" of gar mount not counting wall display. Takes a WHOLE lot less room to display. Sorry for the crowded pic, I'm running near capacity in the shop!
