I was a marshal for a BASS Elite event, and the pros had the Marshals back their boats off the trailer before they would allow them to drive their truck and trailer. I was told to many Marshals caused accidents in the parking lot with the trailers. Probably the inexperienced co angler from the skeeter's owner.

That sucks this happened. I had my trailer hit not too long ago, knocked my tail lights off. As I was tying up to go get my trailer a man walked up me and said "Hey I'm a [censored] and hit your trailer, let me know what it cost to fix." I had a little conversation with him and went off. When I got to my truck sure enough there was a note sitting on my windshield with an apology and his number to fix it as well.
The first time I've ever run into not only a note on my truck, but also someone who would own up to it personally.

Had that happen to me at Rayburn and thankfully the guy left a note with all his information and insurance information. It was a pain in the rear having to wait on a new fender and 2 trips to the dealer but at least he was honest and it didn't cost me any $. Still some good people out there!

Had that happen to me at Jordan Park on Ray Roberts, tore up my fender and both tires. No note, nothing. Luckily I didn't blow one out on the way home. Was expensive to get the tires replaced.

That is sorry for sure, are you going to file an insurance claim?

Boss had a lady hit his truck while he was parked she just acted like nothing had to follow her and get her to stop. Said she was going to turn around and leave a note. Right 2 blocks away

Before you file an insurance claim, check to see how much it will cost you if your premiums go up over time. It might be cheaper to fix it out of pocket in the long run.
People are terrible at the ramp. Like someone mentioned, many times the one backing and parking the truck and trailer is not the owner and has very little experience driving that vehicle, especially with a trailer hooked to it.

I hadn't had my 2009 skeeter two weeks when my wife, grandson and I put in at lake Jacksonville. I backed up to ramp, climbed in the boat and wife was to back down far enough to float me off the trailer. She did great. As she was pulling in between two trailers to park, she hung left fender on right rear of somebody's trailer and tore his taillight off. She came down to the boat just a squalling. I left a note on guy's windshield and I finally got her to stop crying. The guy called me that night telling me not to worry about it, it wasn't the correct taillight for his Nitro trailer, the correct one was ordered. My damage was fixed with vice grips and piece of rubber to straighten out the bent fender. Some black paint and a Q-tip, fixed. She's often refused to back me in again.
