Thanks for the advice... Looks like I've got a little bit of an idle tomorrow. Would love to follow somebody that's already run it if you get a chance.

Last Sunday we ran it at 30mph all the way to the 78 bridge and hit a few back water spots and didn't get a bite but, the water was flowing harder than I'd ever seen it. We did strap this to the front deck

The day after catching a lot of fish is still a good day.

For the question about how to run, run to the point at the shores golf course, Idle through the timber till ends right past tank on the right..Stay in the middle between the bank and tree line till you see an opening in the timber. Run to about 40 yards from power lines and idle from there to mouth..You might hit bottom trying to idle in mouth..This is from experience..I have not been up there in four years..
There is some truth to what previous angler said..Summer is tough up in the river..Good luck.
Did you bums see much bait in the river? When it flushes after being down it usually puts more silt at the opening..Last time I was up in there the depth was about 1.5 to two feet..That about the same? Thanks in advance..

And watch that stump on the right side of the opening. My buddy and his ranger with the new lower unit agrees
Money can't buy you happiness, but it can rent you something so damn close you'll never be able to tell the difference.
