Mudd - why do you say the river is out for the year? Normal pool by September plus the water clearing in the mean time and no fishing pressure. Id say it will be hot by October! Launching might be a different story because of all the clean up that will be needed. Im sure the ramps will have mud settled on them along with water damage to the parking lot and buildings.

Won't b any grass left at all. U will have to dredge just bout every opening to the pockets due to silt. Probably won't b able to get into casp south. We already had sandbar issue and water wasn't this high. Time will tell but I'm not gonna b first dummy go blasting into places. Lol

I cant either. Gonna have learn the river all over again. Should be fun. Have to be careful going through the rocks into any of the oxbows. I would bet there will be a lot of mud and silt stacked in the openings

Southern or Central Oklahoma would be my best guess at this point. But they have some options around here they haven't had in a while.

Got them off facebook. Most of the other pics had to do with housing and downtown flooding.

If u look at the Bossier Sheriff office they added 30 something pics of the Marina. It's bad. Most of trailers and cabins had least 2 ft water in them.

I would think they would go back because of the money and I think the last two years has been a success. I called over to the red river marina back in February to book a cabin for that weekend. I thought I would be well ahead of the game and they said only three cabins were left for that week.

They were taking reservations like we were coming but the person didn't know anything that I talked to or she wouldn't say anything. So we will see. I wonder if they could have those cabins ready by then with the water damage. They must of planned for those thing to flood when they built them before levee.
