150 yard = 1.5 football field, ...
The tandem flukes jigs spin and twist in midair would create quite a drag I'd imagine.
Why do I go fishing? To catch a box of fish and/or some quality time under the sun. Thank Heaven I never fail fishing in Texas, catching box fish or plenty of sunburn.

I just threw a jig over a mountain. Seriously. Over a mountain. And! I'm about to prepare a giant fillet on the half shell for smoking tomorrow! Then of course the fishnfry this weekend . Peanut oil of course!I can hear myself gettin fatter!

Where are these fish coming from
a. spillway
b. OK flood gates
c. Generator water
d. down stream
e. all of the above
I notices damaged gill plates on alot of my fish, Why or how? f. My butthole the way some of those fish look you may want to schedule a colonoscopy ASAP!!

So far have not tried fishing behind the dam due that from what I read it is crazy out their. Is it slowing down and how many people are fishing early on Wednesday and Thursdays. Would like to fish without all the drama. Just like to find a peaceful spot on the shore away from crowds.

When you fight these fish are you fighting the fish or the current more? Are they pulling serious drag? Or does it feel like your pulling in a heavy weight? This question is for those that use surf gear obviously. 50#braid and 11ft rods and what not.

Well, Ben the big mama I lost about 3 hrs ago was NOT dead weight, LoL took off peeling drag against current for 10 secs before the hook pulled. bite didn't really materialize in the spot I fished this AM. didnt see anything over 5# caught was it because of the 13 boats fishing the same 100'x100' hole in the river? maybe. won't be long now & those boats will be gone Oh & to the assclowns in the fancy white 18' bass boat that was stabbing the bow on every wave  all while throwing tiny rattletraps on bass gear like 20 feet......... You're out of your league, boys. next time bring the right gear & pay attention to the bank anglers you're cutting the lines of, sure hope it didn't end up in your prop....NOT!
