Nothing going on out there but a bunch of combat fishing. Got there yesterday night stayed till sun up. Didn't even get my lines wet. Just watched. No one catching anything but each other. I'm estimating over 150-200 people out there. I just watched and laughed. Good comedy show. Only spillway open. Shut generators off. Entire time. Seen one hook up then someone crossed his line and baam. Cut his line........ Screw that. Nothing going on out there but a bunch of combat fishing. Got there yesterday night stayed till sun up. It was hot for a good 3 hours from 8-11. When i left they are still biting.
fishing is one thing. catching is another

Generators are off but OK floodgates are wide open. Water look like the true red river. RED

They will shut down the flood gate this Wednesday on OK side due to high water down stream. The Texas side still running then.

If you are fishing today, stay hydrated. The heat index is already 103-105 and that is not including the heat from the rocks or pavement. Drink a lot of water and gatorade.

Where are these fish coming from
a. spillway
b. OK flood gates
c. Generator water
d. down stream
e. all of the above
I notices damaged gill plates on alot of my fish, Why or how?

I think its from the rocks after catching them, the wave tends to beat them up when you haul them in
