I run a 40 wrap, single layer albright, but like every knot, it's a confidence thing.
tie what you tie good.
JMO, but my take is try to get close to a 100% connection at the leader, so I can run equal leader to mainline test, & the knot at the lure becomes the weak point. (5-wrap improved clinch, 70%)theoretically it should break there every time
sure saves a lot of leader material & time when fishing.
another way to save on leader material is don't loan it to Wilson......

20-30# power pro super slick to matched floro leader connected wth a 5x5 Alberto knot more wraps for liter line. With a single loop San Diego jam knot or improved clinch knot to lure..

That sustain was my fave reel untill i drop its on some rocks in the coast.
The gears got all messed up and the bail got loose.
If anyone got a stradic fi let me know. That was my favorite stradic. Looking for a 4000
