If its a quality rod with a warrenty just mail it to them . You can buy medium quality tips you just have to have rod tip size tool to find size. Or measure with calipers. Then buy glue stick that only requires heat to soften and walla!

I grew up on the river and have fished it for 30+ years a 12' ugly stick and bg90 is all you need! You don't need a $300 dollar rod or reel.
