My job took me to Houston every night. Years ago the San Jacinito river south of Conroe flooded. There was a wildlife park not far from the river that lost some animals. I saw a lion walking down the service road. Quite a site at 3 in the morning. I called 911 and they already had someone coming to get it. I heard later they shot with a dart and put it to sleep so they could relocate it. The wildlife park never reopened.
