Single worm type hooks I lip them.
Mouth full of trebles they get netted if they are to big to just swing into the boat.

Depends on the situation but more times than not I do,
If they are over 5lbs pretty much always.

I don't fish tournaments and fish alone most of the time. I carry a net and if it looks like it's over 7 then I might use the net but other wise I don't use them. If I'm fishing with someone and they want the net I'll net it for them.

Never. I don't see the need. I don't lose fish by lipping them, but I have lost fish when I used to use a net while trying to get the net under them.

Honestly can't remember to load the !@!~! thing in the boat! Made the mistake of buying HIGH $$ floating one with interchangeable head for lure retrieve.....  not doing a lot of good in the back of the dang truck..  God Bless

Never carry one and I did lose a huge bass at Fork that shook off when I was trying to lip it. That said I was able to lip a 12# at Fork a few years back (1996). I always C&R anyway so I figure if one gets off at the boat not the end of the world.

Try to avoid it unless I have a partner - I have a bad habit of knocking off cranbait fish. Cost me several hundred dollars two weeks ago!
