Haven't read all the post so may have been asked before, what do you do to grill them? Want to try that.

Bake them in the oven or hard to believe they come out great in the microwave. Just make sure you cover them! Lemon and herb, Cayanne pepper salt garlic bacon bits and a dash of butter on each fillet. They cook really quick that way and come out great. Oven 400 for six min or so depinding on size. Wraped in foil you will need to check periodically to get your time down for the size of fillets.

Yes Sir. Bluegill are GREAT on the grill! Several ways to do em. You can rap em in tin foil with diced onions, bacon bits, chopped up tomatoes, chopped mushrooms, and two table spoons of Worcestershire sauce. Put the rapped fish in foil on top of hot coals in the bar b.q. pit and leave em on the coals for about 20 to 30 minutes. They turn out FANTASTIC. Make sure you use heavy duty foil. Also you can spray your grill with Pam and place your fish right on the grill. Put a tablespoon or two of Worcestershire sauce on the fish while they cook. Leave on the grill until golden brown. You can also use the grill helpers. Love those Bluegill dinners. food

I love rapping em in foil also. They seem to stay moist when using foil. Also I love em on the open grill! I put lemon butter with a light touch of garlic on em.
