No, it will not affect 75. I suspect 91 is closed. The bottom there where Shawnee Creek and water from the spillway flows through the whistlers with this much current the road will probably wash out. I suspect it is already blocked off.

It washed out in 1990 when the lake peaked at 644. They put a total of six whistlers under the road when it was rebuilt. That did hold up in 2007. If it washes out again, I hope they build a bridge this time.

Those going out from Texas are probably going to have stay on 75 to Colbert, go across West at the Colbert exit which takes you to Cartwright, you will see the big Y of the road that goes across the dam, and go across the dam to the spillway. I am not going to try to go out there until Tuesday. It is something historic to see.

It really is not set up for fishing. People have fished there when no water is going over the spillway but you need to be young as it is a very steep walk. There are too many spectators there now to even think about fishing.

Since 91 is closed, take 75 n into OK, exit at Colber which will be 91W, 91W to Cartwright, left on 91S. You will see the parking lot for the spillway on your right after you have crossed the dam. The road to the flood gates is another 100 yards on your left.
