Where is the best place to go online to buy tackle suitable for striper fishing below the big dams? Rods, reels, poppers, floats--the whole bit. Any suggestions?

tackle direct, cabelas, bass pro, exxon gas station exit 72 and hw75.

Anything about joe pool lake

Went by Lavon Dam today to check it out while out looking at houses. Barely any water being released, but still about 40 cars there. Many more cars coming as I left. Police were patrolling the area. Saw a lot of carp up at the top of the water, but no one catching anything. A couple big catfish, a gar, and a filleted drum floating dead in the pool of water under the walkway making the whole area stink.

The gates are shut right now, probably due to downstream flooding. When they open them again they'll likely open a bunch because the lake is >6'over pool.

With the dam gates closed, water is rising fast. Water is covering the road at east fork marina, still rising.

Ive been catching a lot of catfish bank fishing at lavon for about 5 days straight. Lake side.

Is water being let out now at the dam,never been there but wanna try my luck with my boy.and is it open all night,are there any fee's to fish below the dam
