So now the question is... How many ft high will it get? Pure insanity how the lakes can rise/fill in a few days.

After checking the radar and seeing the huge downpour that whole area is getting this was the exact same thing that popped in my mind. Who would've thought just two weeks ago that we would be talking about this? Crazy if you think about it.

So by tomorrow the lake should be high enough to have every ramp opened up. Right now the lake is at 905.47 and that last ramp should open at 905.8. The first ramp to close because water is too high would be Potter's Creek West when it gets to 910.73. I highly doubt we will get there but every ramp would be closed when level reaches 918

How come I keep catching small fish when every product I buy is supposed to catch more and bigger fish?

The Guadalupe is flooding a lot in Kendall county, Canyon is going to get pretty damn high unless they are releasing it right now at a high pace. You might see that 918 or even more.

We have massive flooding over here right now! Do not go to the lake tomorrow, going to be some trees coming down the river. Our creeks that drain into the Guadalupe are flooding like I have never seen them flood before.

Major flooding all the way up the Guadalupe. I think the lake will be shut down shortly.

As far as medina lake,we drove down to English crossing today. River was full like before and flowing heavy. Guessing 20-25% full by next week. Flash flooding in my back yard. Some of that will be in the lake soon. Keep your fingers crossed.

We got pounded yesterday afternoon, last night in New Braunfels, Kerrville, Uvalde, all down south, and probably in the areas where medina has to have it. Frio and Guadalupe rivers should be flowing pretty good after last night rains and more to come Monday. I saw even the Blanco river is flooding, does anybody know where that runs into? I think the lord has answered some of our prayers. fish

11 inches of rain just above Canyon Lake as of last night around 10:15 PM.

Could get interesting.

Jessie X they have to start releasing water pretty soon if they haven't already. There not going to make the same mistake they did last flood. I remember it went 6ft over the spillway, and what a sight to see.

I remember that in 2002. Corps said the lake could not go above 940ish. As usual, it's the government so they were wrong.

The main lake page also shows the lake at 1 foot over normal pool.

Does anybody know what the status is on Choke? It's got to be catching some of this with the Frio flowing.

3 1/2' over full now.

Medina is now 40' low, came up around 30' last night.

Choke is just up a smidge so far.

They can't open it up, the San Marcos, Blanco and Guadalupe are in flood now.

Snowflakes and entitled brats will be the doom of America!
