Have a 1999 TR18. The only thing I don't like about it is you have to lay down to hook the trailer winch to the eyelet on the front of the boat when taking the boat out of the water.

My buddy had a TR21 for several years(now has a 21XS), and the TR21 was a great riding and dry boat for its day and pretty fast too. The only knock against it is that its a little narrow at the nose. You'll have to learn how to drive it, but any semi-performance hull that really gets up on pad will chine walk.

I have the exact same. 2001tr21 with 225 vmax. Wouldn't trade for the world right now. It walks a little above 70 but other than that it's a great boat. Only thing I wish I had was dual console

I'm going to try and look this 01 TR21 for sale next week, pros & cons? Never ridden in a triton.. Thanks I got a solution to that problem! Have your partner pull the boat up about 2' or so, after you run it up on the roller, then let him get out and hook it up. Same thing in reverse when you are launching. Saves a lot of work, after a hard day of fishing!

Obviously he does not know how to drive one or whomever he was riding with did not, I have had 6 of them and they will ride with any boat out there and outrun most of the ones in its class.

I've owned two tritons and been in a number of them. Not here to plug any brands, just stating the truth.

If the 1st one rode so rough why did you buy another one?
