Here is the post from our weblog from back in 2008 that shows how to read the real time release table. March 6, 2008Interesting is that it shows 5,200 CFS to 11,075 CFS between 1600 and 1815 on 06MARCH2008. A look at 2145 19MAY2015 shows 9,000 CFS. May be seeing some pictures from other TFF Members in the near future!

The news showed people catching some large cats. It appeared they were fishing on the Oklahoma side.
I wish the Tulsa District had the data for 1990 listed but it just back to 1994. This rain has laid on the Red River almost all night and there is a ton of rain that will be coming down Washita too. Add to it all the small streams and creeks that flow directly into the lake and it may go over.

Okay, fellows they are leting out water. I do not remember the CFM's or whatever the rates are but here is how the local news described it this morning. "dam is letting out the equivalent of 7 average backyard swimming pulls per SECOND, unfortunately, the equivalent of 17 average backyard swimming pools per second is coming into the lake. Road that crosses between spillway and lake will be closed to day. I got that from the game warden this morning at 6 am. Lake is rising about a foot per day. it was at 636 this morning. It will probably go over spillway Sunday. I fished this morning and caught some stripers. All small, all on topwaters. Inside the dam, not below.

I thought I had already posted the info below, but I guess I did not submit it. Here is what I posted. Oh, it is going over. Per ACOETD today at 7:00 am, they predict Texoma will crest at 641.56 by May 22nd. Corps of Engineers Tulsa District Cprps of Engineers Tulsa District In another area it predicts the level to be 642.6 by May 24th. Daily revisions may have the elevation higher. The rain WF got will not hit the lake for 5 days. 22 days to go from under 618 to going over the spillway.

I want to go fish the spillway! Grew up fishing the Des Moines river right below the Saylorville Lake Spillway.
