Well (gunsho) I'm glad you and I can get over this situation we had. Glad to see you at the next tournament.
Huchowski congratulations on the win and again sorry for the misunderstanding but like you mentioned to me at weigh in. You stated you got online and double check the posting and tpwd.com. All local and laws apply but I will add slot limit rules next tournament.Huchowski the vote is for one lake can't do both at the same time. But I always feel like a clone would be handy. Especially with the gf.

I will definitely consider the lake in question. I have been on NASA ground maps and web app checking contour lines.

Bridgeport sucks? Lol that's funny and what was weighed in at MC. Bridgeport is a much better option than MC. Benbrook is good, worth, grapevine, eagle mountian.

Yeah I know Bridgeport is way better than mc it sure was tough today. Congrats to Lannie and Chris for they were the only 2 people that waided in anything. It sure is a mudhole.

I bet the tournament was fun. It did a service, too, in that it more or less established for many of us a useful statistic that confirms that it isn't much of a fishing lake as regards LMB.
I still like to run out there because it is convenient.
I wonder what it would take to reinvigorate a lake? What criteria do they use? Is there a bit of "harvesting loss" at Marine Creek, that is, are they ending up on the dinner table more than other lakes? If so, does that drop them on the list for attention?
TPWD reports, again, showed very poor bait fish populations in recent surveys, thus, the bass must be feeding on pan fish, at least I believe that is the conclusion reached by TPWD.

I did not make it in time to sign up , but I fished from noon till 4. I reeled in some nice large mouth bass in cove to the right of the boat ramp. Of course I fish out of a small flat bottom ,but I found some pockets of water in the weeds and had some good luck. They were hitting good on live bait. I wish I could have made it in time. Thank you for having the event!!!!! I look forward to the next one.
I would like to know before the next one, is my flat bottom going to upset you guys. It does give me access to shallow water. I cant go everywhere the kayaks go, but I can get pretty darn close. what are your thoughts?

They were hitting good on live bait. Cool, what kind of live bait were you using? Waterdogs, shiners, crawdads or minners?

minnows, and night crawlers with a bobber. Set the crawler low and slow reel it in.
