I'm sure those who say "we can't get enough rain," are those who have seen how the dry weather has has effected their lively hood for such a long time. Yes, there are those who are hurting because of the heavy rains, but overall there have been more people that have been effected by the drought, and they would by far out number those effected by the flooding. We can get upset and complain, but it's totally out of our control, and getting upset by someone giving an opinion isn't going to stop the rains either. I agree but it annoys me when folks say we need more rain here in DFW, can't get enough, that is ludicrous, I hope everyone gets all the rain they need, I just wish it would quit here for awhile.

I agree Kamper, it's kind of like us here that live inshore from the coast saying we need a hurricane or tropical storm to fill up our lakes. I can understand those who live right on the coast cringe when they see that. I think those on the coast accept the fact that those storms will come, and it's just a matter of when and how bad they will be. Us here in south Texas really depend on those tropical systems for filling our lakes. It's been a long, long time since the last storm and the lakes show the results. In west Texas and south Texas, we have a little different mindset when it comes to how we look at rain I guess.
Just one more cast!

I know it, it is a shame that we need a hurricane to hit so it will hopefully bring you guys lots of rain, maybe one will hit in an unpopulated area and bring all the rain you guys can stand.
