Hello my name is Nick Kissam i am holding a tournament at marine creek Saturday may 16
located 4 miles from lake worth.From east 820 Take marine creek pkwy go across red light and fallow sign for public boat ramp.
From west 820 exit marine creek pkwy turn around under bridge heading west on access road. Fallow signs for public boat ramp.
It is a open tourney with fun for all.Please keep a honest and fair attitude.

25$ per team
Under 18 needs to have guardian present at sign in
Sign in is at 6am
fish time 7am-2pm
Local laws and limits apply
3 bass limit
All fish to be alive at weigh in and released alive.

Pay outs to be 1-3

So if 12 boats enter

Fishing Regulations for Marine Creek
Black bass
For largemouth bass, minimum length limit = 18 inches.
For smallmouth bass, minimum length = 14 inches.
No minimum length for spotted and Guadalupe bass.
Daily bag for all four species of black bass = 5 in any combination.

Keep in mind with this tournament bein on a Saturday that the ski cove is gonna be off limits if there's any people in there skiing, or at least you'll have em all tryin to run you outta that cove.. I've even heard some guys say the ski club guys have tried to run em off the dam.

7am - 2pm on Marine Creek is along time and day!

The ski cove situation shouldn't be a problem. I am on contact with tpwd about every concern that is being brought up. This will be a great tournament lots of people I know that fish here love the place big 10-15lbs Lunkers being caught on a regular bases. Also no fee for boat ramp.

Marine Creek Lake is participating in the Operation World Record program. ShareLunker largemouth bass were stocked in the lake in November of 2006.


Important sport fish include largemouth bass, spotted bass, white crappie, and channel catfish. Largemouth bass were managed under statewide 14-inch minimum length limit until September 1, 2006 when the minimum length limit was changed to 18 inches. Marine Creek was a study site for the Operation World Record special project.
