Check out the B&M Brushcutter. Lots of backbone, high quality. I've got two 11'ers. They are the flippin rod of crappie poles. +1 I don't have any experience with the Pro Angler rods but the B&M brush cutter is built like a flippin' stick. I would definitely give them a look.

Stay away from the dreaded Buggy Whips.
ProAnglers can't be beat for the money. Their is better out there.

Thanks for all the suggestions! I picked up a 12' proangler today and then stopped at Cabelas and picked up a B&M 12' trolling rod!
