Haven't had my wife out in the boat yet, but if this were to happen, it would be years before that was forgotten. Now that it has warmed up, I can't run there like the winter. Not many out once it gets cold.

Did something similar on Toledo Bend a few years back. Had a wake boarding boat pass in front of me, apparently all ballast full. I did not realize what was coming until it was to late at 65 mph...... By the end of the ride I lost a few parts off the boat (small), my hat and I was sitting in the middle seat holding onto the steering wheel...... I got lucky, hopefully those guys did the same.

That's why everyone needs a hotfoot. When you get airborne your foot comes off the throttle smile

honest story, did it to the brother-in-law! took out on Grapevine one Christmas and it was calm, doing 70 and hit a rolling wake. I owed him though, he was a farm boy and when younger would scare the [censored] out of me country dirt roads 80+ mph.
