I got a call like that a month or so ago. I never thought it was a scam. Is it really Bassmaster calling?

I've gotten two calls, told them umm well I'm sort of a life member, if you worked for BASS you would know that. The first was a guy, the second a lady and she sounded pretty good, probably does 1-900 other times.

It should be called "Spam-master" - they are relentless. Except for the the magazine, I no longer enter any promotions.

Get them all the time. Also get 2 of every email they send out sent to the same account. Apparently they have me down as my name and myname@email.com. I renew my membership every January and still get the call about my membership being expired and they have a "Welcome Back" package. Each time they call I explain the situation again. This has happened no fewer than 10 times. They have really gone down the cr@pper.

I'm starting to think I'm gonna see a charge pretty soon. I said okay like tell me more and then he started talking about something else and said "well have a good day". I thought that was easy but maybe he took my okay as a go ahead and sign me up. At least if that was the case that should prove it really is Bassmaster and not some sort of scam

I let my subscription expire about 4 - 5 months ago. I've recieved calls from that number. Answered once, told them no thanks. They call every once in a while still.

Last week I received an offer in the mail for $15 for one year and the flimsy tackle bag. I jumped on it. And I still got a call from that number yesterday.

and that's another reason I was thinking it could be a scam. I just bought a 3 year subscription a few months ago!

I got the call a couple days ago. Girl asking how the fishing has been. She tells me that I signed up for a free fishing trip. I told I did not sign up for a free trip and to have a good day!!

They are becoming crooks. Wont deal with them at all. I dont even like to shop at BassPros. Only if it ios something no one else has. Sad! They did the same [censored] to me a month ago. Said I verbaly agreed to a membership that never happened. I told them that it was not a binding agreement and it is not legal unless I signed it. The stopped calling and sending me letters. Bunch of scheister's

Yeah today actually, about 1:40. The guy asked if I'd been a member of B.A.S.S and said they noted I was doing the fantasy fishing. Then the sales pitch of the 5 yr subscription, told him no thanks too many obligations. Only time I've been called but based on what hall said I'll keep an eye out for them again.
