its not just kayaks, if your fishing on the lake, by boat yak or bank you have to learn to deal with snakes, ive had them get on my dads bass boat before.

Word of advice, check the tree your lure is caught in before you try to shake it loose.... Lets just say I caught a falling snake in my kayak before Better a serpent than a hornets' nest..................

Trust me, one day you will be using your rod to fend off one of those slithering things from coming on board. I have had one on board and fought three off.

Lets just say I caught a falling snake in my kayak before Better a serpent than a hornets' nest.................. no joke i was fishing in lake waco sunday and i was in some thick timber heard a loud swarming noise. I look to me left about 4' and saw a 20' hollow tress with 50 bees or more sitting on the opening i could tell the tree was full of them from the sound. I slowly paddled away, looked like trouble.

Lets just say I caught a falling snake in my kayak before  yes, I scoped a tree really well before I was going to tie off to it reached up & grabbed a limb with a snake on top of the limb I don't know who was more scared
