It's about that time to hit the creek! I won't be able to make it out this week until Sunday so I've got mixed feelings about the rain predicted.

Man, I grilled her fillets tonight. Kosher salt, a little black pepper, little garlic powder, and paprika. Brushed heavily with Mesquite Olive Oil prior to placing on the grill . Sooo gooood!

Only a couple of bits today. Had a big hybrid on my line but he jumped and spit the hook out. The water was really murky. Hopefully it will clear up.

Also got some huge shad in my casting net trying to get some bait since they was not biting my lures.

I'm gonna head out there in about 2 hours hopefully the fishing has picked up.
Fishing is only a waste of time if you don't catch anything.

Might be worth checking out sections north of Miller. The water was nice and high for so long from this last rain, I have to think some fish crossed the dams. Water should be a lot more clear the further north you go.
