Thank you for the tips, I just filled them half way full with tap water and added a large bottle of Hydrogen Peroxide and let it soak for an hour or so then drained them after empty I hit it with a brush and rinsed with tap water again. When I got on the lake I flushed it out with lake water and the 3 fish that I had all day long were released and looked great. I always used Hydrogen Peroxide for cleaning cuts and scrapes so I just needed something that I wouldn't be sorry for using latter. Thanks for to good advice, That's why I enjoy this forum. cheers

You should see my livewells after our tourney on Pines this past weekend. There's brown muck all over the insides and sediment covering the bottoms. They are begging for a water hose.

That's the only time I have ever hosed out a livewell just to flush sand out of the bottom of it instead of letting it clog up the valves.
