In LA some where.
Few years ago wife and I are in Baton Rouge and we go to this place cause it is supposedly best cajun in area. Sitting at table, 2 guys by us I can understand about 2-3 words of 10 cause of heavy accent. I know we are in right place.
Best dirty rice EVER. Lafayette LA I think. Good stuff.

Go-Go Gumbo in Boyd - Kind of a combination of Cajun & seafood with killer good food. Get there early as they are only open Thurs-Sunday and by 5 o'clock they usually have a 30-60 min. wait. http://www.yelp.com/biz/gogo-gumbo-boyd?osq=go+go+gumboBayou Jack's in Roanoke Boo-Ray's - I prefer the one out by Eagle Mountain Lake since it's non-smoking. (unlike the one in Weatherford)

Larry's French Market in Groves, Tx. They have an all you can eat Cajun buffet that will make you hurt yourself.

Saw a restaurant in Denton called Frilly's. Menu looks good. Has anyone ever eaten there?

Frilly's has pretty good food! The boss & I have dined there quite a few times and never been disappointed. Gumbo, fried catfish, blackened catfish, grouper, all have been hits. 2 thumbs up!
