SaltyDawg and I will be there but confused about this rule.
Monster Crappie Bonus for anyone weighing in a 3lb. crappie (if there is more than one 3 lb. crappie, the money will be split).
So if I catch a 3.2 lb crappie and a competitor catches a 3.1 lb crappie (only 3+ lbers weighed) I have to split the bonus? Would understand maybe a 75/25 split but not 50/50 on the payout. 3 lb crappie is an epic catch but not everyone needs to gets a paycheck. Confused about this rule.

The bonus is just that - a bonus. If you have the bigger of the 3 pound fish weighed in, you win a lot more than just your equal share of the bonus - you win the tournament and a lot more money. Everyone that catches a 3 pound + crappie will be receiving an equal share of the bonus and their tournament payout winnings.

This would be a great tournament for folks wanting to see what tourney fishing is all about. No big stringers needed. Just one decent fish to weigh-in, and you might win some good prize money. So if you've been considering entering a tourney, it might as well be this one.

Am I reading it right, only one fish can be weighted in period. Not one per category correct? Little man is ready! He caught 3 keepers in a row last weekend on his Pro Angler rod he got last year at the tourney. We didn't have any good fish but had plenty for an Easter fish fry Sat evening while him and his sister chased eggs! Looking forward to Sat, ya'll put on a good show! Thanks!!
