There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish

Ok....some one send me a pm. What is creek X ?..lol Think I know but not sure. You have an entire year to figure it out! Currently biting for about an hour and half each day, on 2 types of bait, presented one way, and you need to bust out the measuring tape.
There are no fish in sonic pond EDIT: Except 1 20lb catfish

I saw at least 10 cars parked on the grass at Firewheel on Saturday. Hope they enjoyed the weather. Maybe they were gar enthusiasts.
I took a break from the sand bass run today. Took my (almost) 7 yo. daughter fishing for catfish. They were delicious. Slip corking for eater cats is a nice change of pace from casting all day.

Looks like possible rain on the way Tuesday! Should help put some more fish in creeks. I'm seeing 20% on the forecast now. Doesn't look too good. We were supposed to get some rain in the last round, but it completely went around the Rowlett Creek basin. Hope it does rain though. We still need a lot of it.

.... a few men fishing in a tiny pond next to the lot and beside a wood fence........------ That is a scummy A__ pond. Couldn't believe it has a bench there to sit and admire the view.

Crappies are off the banks along ray hubbard. Sandbass arent to far off either.. when the sun is setting.

this is first year that I have been going to "creek x". Does anyone else notice the large number of people that are netting fish? the last 2 times I have been out I have caught people illegally throwing nets. Is that area not patrolled much? Is there a local game warden that you would reach out to?

DaBears you got to call the game warden the only way we're going to put and end to this behavior Is to report it every time you see it happening . I have gotten to the habit of driving by a spot on White Rock Creek even when I'm not fishing and u can bet I see anything like that I have the number on speed dial. we need to all work together to put a stop to this.
