Yep.....paint my own. Water temps here are still below 45 and the fish are crushing the 1/64.

Nice jigs. I really became a fan of the bucktail jigs a couple of years ago. When wet, they take on a shad/baitfish profile that so many plastics strive to imitate.

Bucktails.....and also Kiptails. Most of my 1/64 at kiptails.

Yes, Powdercoat, sometimes tie, sometimes use tipped with meal worm or grub. Originally when I hot my 1/100 mold the idea was to tip with meal worm for catching chubs and shiners for bait. Quickly found out that all fish liked em.

The 1/64 and 1/80 are still working! Pic with a nice crappie has a 1/80 hanging from its lip this morning

And again this morning! 30 by 9:30. All on 1/64 or 1/80 this morning. The warriors attached 1/80 will be retired after three weekends of ripping lips made by a friend. Friend has peer pressured me into get my uncles 1/80oz to go smaller!

I love using my 1/80th oz and 1/124th oz jigs to nail some slabs! When people look at my jig they just chuckle, until they see my stringer wink I tied my 1/80 oz micro ghost minnow for the last jig swap...
Anyone use them yet? How'd they work for you???


Fly tier (yeah, I can fly fish...but the fish don't like frothy water!)

Dr. Crappie.....I broke one of yours off if that counts! Fishing was slow but the 1/80 mylar's that I put on today where hot!
