The water is high and timing is great for a fantastic event. They should be able to catch them about any way imaginable this week. The waters in the trees which it hasn't been in 15-20 years. Going back to about 1996 or 1997 we believe.

Things should be fun with a forecasted SSW wind of 10 MPH Thursday and 12 MPH on Friday. Everyone will be able to get in and out safe with those winds if it holds.

Tournament Staff is leaving today and set up tomorrow. See you guys at Registration on Wednesday and be sure you get there early enough to get it done. With any luck we could have 400 boats plus, though we are planning on 365. Only end of the day will let us know how this one goes down mid week.

Looking forwards to a great week at Rayburn!

My brother David Haas and I will be headed that way in a few hours, looking forward to a good week of fellowship and some great fishing in his Puma. Worse case scenario we will just go duck hunting.

Drive careful everyone and we will see you there.

I will also have another FLW Rayovac Pro staying with me this week and he would not mind getting in on this event if anyone has room in there BassCat for a team partner.

We have 4 staff members left to come in tomorrow. We have set up weigh in under Umphrey's Pavilion and all should be ready for registration tomorrow.

Any guess on the number of boats?

My guess is 328 boats.

How much weight did it take to win this? I was out there today and it was pretty good fishing.

The total turnout was 221 boats. Overall, it was a great event! The turnout was slightly sobering. We really hoped for more. Last year there were 380 boats in Arkansas. Before the recession the tournament would draw 600-800 boats. That being said, it gave an awesome opportunity to those who turned out. The total calculated payout was just over 590%. $33,150 paid entries vs. just under $200,000 retail prizes and cash back.

Albert Collins won again by a slim margin of .001 ounces. Yes, ounces. The total weight was around 33 pounds. I've been too busy to stop and look, but results will be posted on the Bass Cat forum as soon as possible.

A big thanks to all TTFers that came out. Sorry I couldn't make the social. I got a little caught up at the pavilion. It was a pleasure meeting those in and around the weigh-in lines.
